Well shit. Woke up Friday with a fever so I’ve just been in bed sweating it out

Bear season is still open.
Even the roads below snow level will be ugly. A muddy mess. Probably more so than snow covered roads.
Hope you feel better. Our 5 year old got sick Thursday as well. The fever finally broke this morning.

I went over 50 Saturday night (going from Sacramento to Carson City around midnight) and believe me there’s some serious snow up there now. That storm was no joke. Power was out in Southshore. cars spun out here and there with a few big rigs as well.
So I’m betting UTC had a bunch of snow!

Mormon Emigrant Trail.
Popular and sometimes busy. Only time (quite a while ago) I went up there we cut out after 20min. Vehicles stuck everywhere and drivers being dumb
Last snow run I did was up Cottonwood Road, East of Black Oak Casino towards Cherry Lake. Less people and likely plenty of snow after the last sorm.
I am so happy your Vaxed otherwise just think how sick you be otherwise.

Got Xmas duties Saturday/Sunday, but I have most of next week off if anyone wants to hit some trails.

That could work for me, but depends where you want to go. It's a long drive for me to do anything south of I-80.
