Are there any off-road clubs in your area. Do some searches online for clubs around major cities near you. If you find any, and they have some sort of online presence (even social media), reach out to them for suggestions.
Try Diablo Off Road in Walnut Creek, they don't appear to be a serious off road shop compared to Arabia's Automotive, Inc in San Jose. But they have done suspension work on my 05 Rubicon and I have been please.

Tony Huff at Action Axle, Suspension & Brake in Redding. Also in NorCal, but 235 miles from Concord.
Is that a shop? Looks like an online parts/accessory store. I have never heard them mentioned around town.
I could be wrong about him. He posted on the NorCal forum a while back, so I stand corrected.

Theres the 4x4 shop over by the drive-ins. And one in Walnut creek by american tires.

Try Cliff at Diablo 4x4. They are in WC. They installed my Currie lift Kit and steering a few years ago and did a great job
