Not my Jeep

This was in the winter of 1975, I think..... This is my buddy Ron's CJ 2A, by this time, Ron has switched the 4 cyl. for a Buick V-6. We are back in my best friend's woods playing around, trying to get stuck. As you can see, Ron has succeeded in doing so. He got it high centered, and got out while it was still in gear. The right front wheel is throwing water, as is the left rear....

Ron put a full roll cage in it and just draped the top over the cage.. Good times...

I had a 47 CJ2A what a blast to drive.

My mom's first "car" was a 48 CJ2A. She taught me to drive it when I was 14. When we went to camp, she let me and my friends to drive it, unsupervised. If she only knew some of the things we did.

One of my other friends had a Gladiator with the Hurricane 6....that one was a boat anchor. He put a small block Chevy in it....

My J20 pictured had the 360 (if my memory is correct) I installed cam, holly 4brl, headers etc. that woke it up. It will snap your neck when it shifted. Vacuum lockers front and back, it was a beast. Stolen while parked at a deer lease on the Texas/Mexico border.
