My ex had a lifted JKU on 35s it reminded me of driving an old Full Size Cherokee Chief. Nothing CJ about it.

I always thought of the 4 doors as the spiritual successor to the solid axel (grand) Cherokee more than a Wrangler. It fills the same niche when the Cherokee went independent

You may be right about that. Hopefully the 2 door Wrangler never ends up needing a spiritual successor.
