Have you ever driven a JK with that trans in it? If you have, I'm surprised you're saying anything nice at all about that pile of mechanical poo.

With respect to the ratios? I've driven JK's and JL's but never the 6 speed. Still, even with the auto it was clear how different the torque curve is vs the 4.0 so it wouldn't surprise me that what ratios feel good with the 4.0 might not with the V6s.

It doesn't matter what the ratios are if it feels like the shifter and clutch pedal are connected to the motor via some giant extra fluffy marshmallows.

Oh for sure. The ax15 feels like a Porsche compared to the nsg370. The ratios are literally the only thing good about it.

Roger, that is why I hope someone will make a bell housing to swap in the AX15. Have asked Quick Draw and now Novak.
Maybe more issues, but leaving that to those wiser than me. D
 
I would like to replace my NSG370 with an AX-15 in the future. I'd love to see a complete "kit" that had all components, including the transmission.
