Also not the bolt i needed for the shifter. that M8x 1.25 is massive. compared to the other three. i will see if i can find a correct size bolt and get that ordered.

drove to o’reilys. Jeep wouldn’t start, had the guys put a jump pack on it. nothing, so we tried bump starting while i was engaging the starter, heard the tell tale of the starter grinding, seems like it’s been getting stuck, i don’t know if it’s the lack of amperage, or if it’s something with the interface of the starter and fly wheel
Just finished running the T33 crash trail,
Happy to say I think the turn down realty helped the exhaust. Only once did I get a whiff.
Much happier that I took the center console out and found that the shifter was loose. That should take care of the pool of oil.
Found that the crrectlync is loose and is been giving me the wandering steering. I've got some wrenches ordered to help get that tightened down.
All in all great run. Had my son tackle a few obstacles. he was grinning ear to ear untill he stalled on a waterfall. I hoped in but the weak battery kept us from starting. Hadn't seen a single person on trail yet.
BUT The second that hood came up. We had a traffic jam of five behind us and two groups of dirt bikers trying to come down.
Worse part since we were running solo, I stayed at street pressure. Since my air game isn't up to par yet. Didn't want too stress the single cylinder incase of emergencies air compressor, We were bouncing all over the place.

Older son and I had a day off at the same time. Went back to the same area as Saturday. Completed Bunce school road and Ironcalds.
It was his first time driving off road so it was cool watching him try and pick some lines. And then get spooked by some rock that was nowhere near a concern.
Lots of bouncing and then finding loose components because of it. Somewhere we lost the bolt and bushing to the upper rear DS sway bar link.
Twice on the drive home I forgot And let the clutch out with left turn.
That right rear corner sinks and next thing I know the front left tire is 18" I'm the air. 310lbft of torque
let the boys have both front seats for about 2 minutes. That was enough of that.

Had a $25 gift card sitting in my wallet for the last two years. Decided to use it after I had 4 different pressures on some air down valves. I'll see if I can get those closer together.

Front Axle parts have arrived. Should be able to order rear stuff come late Jan or Early Feb.

You might want to reconsider that diff cover and "breather" kit. ARB covers are really thick and create clearance issues... Search the forum and you'll see. The breather kit just isn't needed. The stock one is all you need. As far as a cover, see if you can source a Barnett style. Not sure if T&J has then in stock or not.
The only thing nice about the breather kit was that all my old stock lines were long gone and now I have all of both axles & t-case & transmission in one breather..
I use a piece of wire that I store on my tool chest - bent in a J form to 'dip stick' my Riddler covers...
Does exactly the same function of the ARB (with increased emboss) for less than $0.01.
