I love my hard top, but 140 pounds of weight up high and worth I will never wheel with my hard top again. A frameless top, bikini or Spider Shade also give you an inch or two of side clearance up high. I use my sunrider frameless top with or without windows depending on weather.

This did make me rethink my new soft top plan, I think I’ll get a framed soft top and an a shade so I can fold down the top to not wreck it for these harder trails. I was happy with my crappy rampage fastback style since it didn’t even rub!

It was @Daryl on metal masher. We got him back on all 4s and he walked away with a minor scratch. The Jeeps top and door weren't as lucky.

Driving over the Gooney Bird's feet is not good luck though.

Day two and we when to Top of would with 7 jeeps. Fun trail with quite a few technical points. The rain adding to the mix for good measures and we had some hail at the point too. Everyone had a great time running the trail and helping others on the muddy parts with no real issues. Ping me as we have more pics of people at the point if ypu want a copy.

Hope this is not out of line but Louise and I needed some welding done here at Moad and with Lauren's help, we used Curt's Custom Welding. Curt is the Owner / Welder with his shop on Kane Creek rd in center of town. Curt was very helpful doing both our jobs, even waiting till we got off the trail to get it welded. He's been involved with off-racing, etc. and charged a fair price. he also has a mobile weld truck if needed.

I wanted to share Curt's contact info for others in case needed while at Moab and tell him you're with the Wrangler TJ forum.
