I would agree. Some obstacles, some locations (heights) and Pritchett should be considered accurate.Of the trails I’ve run, the ratings tend to overstate the actual difficulty. But that could just be my lack of general fear.

I didn't personally try a repeater due to most of the group were in line of sight but @Dino - KX6D might have tried since he was the comms guy.How was the cell service and ham radio repeaters availability on the trails? Any info here? RepeaterBook show two 2M repeaters. Did anyone try them?
I usually have cell service using Verizon. How was the cell service and ham radio repeaters availability on the trails? Any info here? RepeaterBook show two 2M repeaters. Did anyone try them?
I’ve done most of those trails alone. Take plenty of water and I’d recommend an Inreach mini incase something bad happens. Try to join someone else if you can.Thank You, I will most likely be alone, maybe others on the trail if they can stand the heat. What a heat wave they have going at the moment.
Not sure when you're planning on heading out there but if it's any time this summer you might want to check for closures due to fires. How was the cell service and ham radio repeaters availability on the trails? Any info here? RepeaterBook show two 2M repeaters. Did anyone try them?
I got radio silence, even with the email acknowledging the check in.Anybody hear anything about the mysterious Golden Spike badge?
It's pretty bad when it says I have one more badge received than I really do.I got radio silence, even with the email acknowledging the check in.
That's what all the people without badges say.Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!
That took them awhile. I got mine a couple of weeks after we got back. I guess it is hit or miss with them.Received notification last night my Steel Bender Badge shipped. Anybody hear anything about the mysterious Golden Spike badge?
I think it depends on inventory levels. I received Pritchett and Metal Masher quickly. I've had others waiting in my mailbox by the time I returned from a trip too. That took them awhile. I got mine a couple of weeks after we got back. I guess it is hit or miss with them.
Magnet backing and a metal plate in my garage is my intention.I forgot to check into the trails and I didn't realize it until the last day of the trip. Too bad.
I thinking pop riveting them on the kick panel under the steering wheel would be pretty cool though.
