98 with AX15. Replaced oil pan, gasket, and RMS. Still have a leak. Replaced valve cover gasket. Slow drip still coming from bell housing.
Some say it's just residual oil from RMS. Because of the angle of my trans (1" motor and body mount, SYE, 4" lift with correct DC shaft angle) it seems unlikely since my bell housing would ostensibly act as a bowl for any residual oil.
Anyone had this problem or might know what it could be?
The fluid doesn't smell and I checked to verify it's not gear oil.

I have that problem for 5 years now. It does not hurt anything for I know it's oil leaking from the RMS.
I leave it there just like that for rust prevention.

I replaced RMS. The previous reply was correct. I backed it up onto wheel ramps and left it there for a day or so. Leak stopped.
The RMS is pretty easy to replace. Just need to make sure you put RTV in the right places.
