Oil pan surface? Replacing clutch, so the main seal while I’m there.

Stock pan 2003 rubicon will h 48k miles. So I cleaned the surface of the oil pan. Any reason to take it to raw metal before I put the pan gasket on?

Surface just needs to be clean and flat without any old residual gasket sealers.

Thnx, it was in good shape so I didn’t take it to metal just a good clean.
