So I’ve got a couple of grease zerks that just won’t accept grease. Went to the parts store to buy some 45° zerks so maybe I can get them lined up and greased. Ended up buying some METRIC zerks and man did that become a failure. Been an industrial mechanic forty plus years and never knew there are sae and metric sized zerks. Just a heads up for people like me. Guess I’ll go back and buy some sae 45°😩😡

Hit the zerk with a lighter or small torch-often works.

On the mixup, don’t feel bad. I’ve done worse.

A zerk thread tap is great, you can add a seek to most anything.
