Been looking and pondering OME spring options. I'm most likely going to use the 2996 rear springs in the LJ. It's already heavier than a TJ, will have a hard top, and the typical 'overland' stuff - fridge, battery, water, recovery gear, camping stuff etc...enough for a couple nights.
But the front is what I'm debating mostly. My plan is to just stick with the OEM bumper, a winch mount and winch. Which would put added weight around 85 pounds. Much lighter than if I were to have purchased the other bumper which was 100 pounds just by itself. Anyway, I'm not sure if with 85 pounds it warrants the longer 2933 springs, or the standard 2932 springs. Both springs are the same OEM spring rate (according to ARB who doesnt even know what they have themselves apparently), and the 2933's are 0.59" longer than the standard 2932's. I guess the real question is if I need the front to sag a little to not have the full 2.5" of lift and to make it even with the rear when loaded down. I also plan to tow with this in the future, putting additional weight on the rear.
So who can say with experience what the 2932's do with a winch mount and winch?
