This TJ Rubicon has been stored in either my personal garage or collector car garages for the entirety of its 15 years. It has been serviced and maintained yearly. And while it originated in the midwest, it’s never been subjected to harsh weather conditions or been mistreated in the mud or out on the trails. The under carriage has zero rust and it’s never been in an accident or sustained any damage whatsoever. The carpet and floor mats are all original and have very little wear.
In December of 2009 we added a 4" lift with Bilstein shocks, keeping the original wheels and installing Goodyear Wrangler LT305/70R 16" tires and ARB fenders to retain the original stock look.
In November of 2015 we replaced the stock stereo system with a Pioneer 5-channel Amp SiriusXM ready CDE-HD148BT CD Receiver, 4" Kicker Dash speakers and a 9" Kicker CompS fully enclosed box subwoofer. Original radio included.
In August of 2017 we replaced the original headlights with JW Speaker 8700 EV2 LED headlights with Chrome face, again maintaining the factory appearance.
In May of 2018 we installed BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 LT 295/75R 16" tires that were manufactured the 41st week of 2017 and have no more than 1,000 miles of wear.
Most recently, in December of 2020 we took the Rubicon to Dan’s Driveline Repair in Las Vegas for routine maintenance and had the driveline cleaned and balanced, the driveshaft balanced, U-joints replaced and front and rear differential drained, inspected and serviced with new fluid.
There are scars in the driver side door jam from the seat belt buckle getting caught in the closing of the door. You’ll also find a couple scratches on the hood that were caused at the dealership while in for service. The Footman Loop needs replaced. And there are rock chips on the hood and grill from the 40,000 miles of road she‘s travelled. This vehicle has never been detailed, inside or out, outside of typical washing and vacuuming. Pictures will display true condition of this gem. Investing $500 in detailing your new purchase will return her to near showroom condition.
I can make myself available if you’re anywhere near Vegas and want to inspect this vehicle for yourself.
