Looks too good to be true and I can't find much on them. Probably cheap Chinese crap, but, any experience with them?

Probably cheap Chinese? 100% guaranteed cheap Chinese. The price plus the description in every advertisement being written in Chinglish should be a dead giveaway. If the winch is only going to be jewelry like most are then go for it.
Any winch is better than none. If buying Chinese gets you synthetic line then it might be a good choice. The QC on some of these isn't great but if you get a good one it'll be fine. $300 for synthetic and a generic Chinese winch isn't too good to be true, it's just the going rate these days. You might get better service from a name brand.
