Order of wires at the back o the HVAC selector switch

Fixing some old wiring. Can someone tell me the order of the wires at the back of the selector switch? And at the blower motor, does the black wire go to the battery or back into the harness?

Chasing down some very old problems that the PO seemed to have figured out but isn't around anymore.
99 TJ with rotary style HVAC controls.

If I had a TJ I would tell you, but since I don't right now, have you checked the wiring diagrams in the back of the FSM?
