Other vehicles you've owned?

It was quick. A lot of torque steer, but fun torque steer. I liked playing with the 0 to 60 mph recorder. I had it down 0 to 60 in 5.6 seconds. They say top end was over 150 mph. Never went that fast in it though.

And just think... If you'd put a bigger turbo on that thing, a better tune, etc... You could have really had that thing hauling ass!

Chris why did you have three E36 M3's?

First I had a 95, then I sold it and got a 97 with the 3.2 engine, and later I sold that and got a 99 because it was an uber rare color combo... Hellrot red on Modena leather with no sunroof!!!

What did you do with the 99? The last year of the E36 M3 in an ultarare color combo.......

I would have kept that.

Forever.

Memory is getting a bit fuzzy. I am sure I missed a couple here and there. This is a fairly accurate chronological listing.

1951 Willys pickup. 45 mph downhill with a tail wind. Dad thought he owned it but I drove it, maintained it, and put the new mud tires on it.
1956 Chevy wagon- 265, 4 barrel, 3 on the tree with electric overdrive.
1960 Chevy Impala 283 3 on the floor. POS!
1964 Chevy Impala convertible. Highly modified 327/300, 4 on the floor. Wish I still had it
1967 Olds 442. Like I said 442.
1969 Corvette 427/390 4 speed. Really wish I still had that car.
1972 Olds 442 Smog eaten slug!
1973 Chevy El Camino 454 Huge Holley and headers. 1973 oil embargo and 7 mpg!
1973 Jeep Cherokee one of the first. No a/c in Oklahoma
1976 (or75?) Chevy 3/4 ton.
1977 Chrysler Córdoba tee top. Pimp mobile
197? VW station wagon- transportation!
1978 (or 79) CJ. 360 automatic. Bought it from the Canadian PX in Frankfurt Germany. Soft top. Got orders to Colorado with 2 small babies too small and too cold.
1980 (or81) AMC Eagle station wagon. Ok for family but blah!
1982 (or83) CJ. 4 cylinder. In Colarado--what a dog on the road. Great off highway. Blew the engine on H2O crossing.
1953 Willys pickup. Rusted hunk-oh-junk. Totally restored and sold. Nice rig when I sold it!
1983 CJ7. Great rig!!! Divorce forced sale.
1974 Chevy 1/2 ton. Project truck. Restored and sold.
1976 Chevy 3/4 ton 350 4 speed. Another beast!
1987 Chevy S10 extended cab. Nice little truck.
198? Chevy Blazer POS. Ate automatic trannys!!
1985 Sabb 900 turbo. Wife's car. Ultra fast-- we lived in Germany!
197? Mercedes 230 something or the other. Transportation work car. Nice but rusted out.
197? Polonez (Polish) work car. Actually reliable little car. It had many owners as it was sold from one GI to the other when they went back home.
1986 Buick Park Avenue. What can I say! We got it relatively cheaply.
1964 Corvette 327/300 4 speed. Wife's grandfather bought it new. We bought it from her dad. All original, Including the totally rusted frame!
1992 Jeep Cherokee . Damn, really wish we had kept that one.
1998 Dodge 2500 4x4 extended cab V10 5 speed. Really a beast in ever sense of the word.
1985 or so S10 work truck. Just kept on ticking.
1991 VW Rabbit convertible. Wife's fun car.
1991 YJ 258 4 speed. A real sleeper with hidden mods!
1995 YJ 4.0 NV4500. Built to the hilt and it showed!
2004 Coachman 25 foot motorhome. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. The coach, not the Ford 450 chassis.
2005 Jeep LJ Rubicon Sahara Unlimited number 009 of 1,000. Stinger!
2000 Dodge pickup- small one. bought it fixed it and called it our daughters truck.
2000 TJ. Had been totaled. I rebuilt it and sold it to our neighbor-he is still driving it and damn it, won't sell it back!
2002 Subaru Outback. Loved that car. Eventually gave it to our daughter. She totaled it several month later.
2011 Mazda MX5 Miata. Fast, fun, expensive go-cart!
2015 Mazda CX5 AWD- love it!
1970 Jeep Gladiator pickup. Dad bought it new and I am restoring it.
2008 Georgetown motorhome
2005 Ford Ranger

Motorcycles
197? Suzuki 250 X6. First time I had ever been over 120 mph on a bike!!
1975 Suzuki 250 Street Trail. Great dirt bike.
1986 Honda Gold Wing wish I had kept it.
198? Honda 750 Anniversary Edition.
2008 Honda Gold Wing Silver and looked like my grandmother should have owned it. Second time I have been over 120 on a bike.
2015 Honda Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Edition. Love it. Does NOT look like my grand mothers bike!! Last time over 120 on a bike!!

Funny you say that. I had a 2002 Outback as well, and I find that I miss that car quite often. I'm not sure what it was, but I really enjoyed that vehicle for whatever reason or another. My wife doesn't get it, and I can't explain it, but it really was a nice little car.

Soooo.... I scored a unicorn, bought a 1997 Cherokee limited from the lady two houses up. 1 owner with 80k miles. Pick it up after work tonight and drive it the 100ft to my garage.

Sounds like a similar situation I had.

I got a 2001 Cherokee XJ Limited. Original owner, Patriot Blue on grey leather, overhead console, heated seats, and 80k original miles.

Cleanest XJ I'd ever seen in my life, not even molested one bit.

Sounds like you have your own unicorn!

Yep! Post photos of it when you get a chance. A nice and clean XJ is a hard find these days.
