Looking at your diagram, I have some concerns. The outlet of the pump I think, should attach to the top of the heat exchanger that way gravity will bring the coolant down and cool it. The bottom of the heat exchanger should go to the front port of the cooler and the back should go to the tank. How I have mine connected:
Back port of cooler to coolant tank
Coolant tank to back part of water pump
Water pump to top off the heat exchanger
Bottom port of heat exchanger to front port of cooler

Ok. So you do want the pump to push the coolant from the bottom to the top? I can see how this would force air out of the system.You would typically have the bottom port of a heat exchanger be the inlet and the top port would be the outlet. If the outlet is at the bottom it could air lock.
Yes!Looks like you might be closing in on the issues. That will be great if you can get it figured out. And then a GOOD tune from Ryan and you should be golden. Hope this works out for you and you can enjoy your Jeep.
Yes, that is typically how it is done unless there is a specific reason why that is not possible. As in hose routing restrictions or exchangers that have both fittings at the bottom ect. If that is the case I would highly recommend air-lifting the system to remove the air before filling. A good pump should have no problem pushing the water through the core. The pump I use is a Bosch 0 392 022 002. It's the one supplied in Magnusun kits as well as others. I think it flows around 318 gph.Ok. Me too. Uphill. Passing. With a 2000lb trailer. Took a bit to shake out all the bugs, but couldn't be more happy. Oh, and I just passed smog in Crapafornia.My Banks turbo setup is incredible. I can run full throttle (6 psi boost) up long steep hills on a hot day with the A/C on and it doesn’t overheat! It is a shame this mod is no longer available.

Banks doesn't make the turbo kit anymore from my understanding.
I live where there wasn't any DEQ requirements and then here about 2 years ago the Seattle are said that the air quality had improved so much that there isn't any testing anymore state wide.
