Overland LJR built to explore and expedition

So I’ve been battling with a p0344 CEL since Moab.

Today, I put in a new crown OPDA as I was continually having CELs with the old one. Also cleaned the ground on the engine block. Got home from Alex’s without a CEL but it was normally happening about every 150-200 miles. Hopefully that thing can stay off for awhile.

CEL free for now!

Which sensor do you have in the OPDA? The Crown sensor has some issues but the OEM sensor fits.

Ordered the Olympic 4x4 bumper @bobthetj03 has, I like its towing ability and Olympic sort of discontinued their whole current product range until Christmas, so I was able to get it, made in the USA with 3/16” steel for $142 shipped and tax from 4WP

How's the vibe front going? Did that get solved?

Lol the CEL front has drawn a lot more of my attention as of late. I’ve ordered MML spacers from JKS and going to put the stock motor mounts back in, see how that helps, hopefully does something to idle vibes. We got the vibes at speed better with pinion but it’s still there. Need to spend a day playing a bit more, worst case I’ll take it to a driveline shop.

Nice, I remember seeing your rear bumper after the Moab trip. Bent and in need of a few more bolts. LOL! Things will be all good now. That's a killer deal!

Used JKS spacers and put back in the stock motor mounts (ignore that sketchy looking wiring, my loom has been falling apart)

Installed my crack free door panel (thanks @JMT)

Overall I would say vibes are down with the stock motor mounts both on speed and at idle, although they still exist.

Cleaned up the interior of the Jeep pretty good today. I also replaced the battery with the super start AGM. I had noticed some corrosion on my old battery and had it tested where it was deemed bad.

Heard good things about the super starts and they did the work putting it in for free (not that it’s hard but one less thing I have to do.

We also dropped the gas tank, I got a transmission jack from harbor freight on the cheap which made the job not too bad. Fixed the rollover valve sticking, I had learned to adapt to it but it sure was annoying. Glad to finally have that issue behind me. Thanks to @Rob5589 for helping via text on how to get the cage out.

Well done! A job I need to do as well. That last gallon or so takes forever to get in there.
Tom was just telling me that as we were finishing up. @bobthetj03 sounds like we need get your jeep back on the lift. The worst part about that job was getting the piece of of the tank. The only way we were able to was getting a flat head inside and prying two of the 4 locking tabs open. The metal collar was a PITA also.
