P0456 Small Evap Leak

I just had this trigger my check engine light a week or so ago, so I cleared it, and it's on again. So I suppose it's time to look into it. Any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

I just checked it again, and it actually states "Very small leak" in parenthesis....ugh!

It doesn't seem to be effecting the way it runs, I just don't want the light on.

Some times the very small leak is cured by either tightening or replacing the gas cap. Just went thru this on my wife's Compass. Same readout and when I checked her cap it was very loose from the gas station.

Aftermarket keyed gas caps are common leakers of air which will trigger that code.

I just ordered an OEM gas cap. Hopefully that will take care of it.
