P235/75R15 compared to LT245/75R16

Just bought some Rubi wheels and tires and I had the opportunity to compare side by side to my other tires. Thought this might help someone in the future.

I did not weigh them but the Rubi tires are MUCH heavier.

Mathematically the 245 is approx. 1.5" taller and 10mm wider.

235/75R15 = 28.88" Tall 9.25" Wide
245/75R16 = 30.47" Tall 9.65" Wide

Good visual for guys that want to see it in person.

Bet some of it is in the wheel too. Rubi wheels are heavy and have the integrated bead retention humps. I remember shortly after they came out tire installers where complaining it took 80 psi or more to seat the bead which is really high for a LT tire. Use lots of lube and put them in a tire cage. It takes what it takes.
