Always liked the Mammoth's! Those will look sharp. Interesting choice of tire. Toyo's RT. I'm interested to see how you like them.
Jury is out on the back spacing
4.764” bs?
It probably will take time to get used to them, but the stance in that last picture looks really good!
Well you can’t go wrong there!Yep. The front looks ok, but the rear spring perch is getting close. The look kind of reminds me of your rig with the DC2's.
The wheels? I'm not super excited with the look. I'm sure they will grow on me. I do like the clean look they provide. Jury is out on the back spacing until I do some flex testing. The tires? Too soon to tell yet, but the 12 mile commute home was the smoothest I have ever experienced with this TJ.
I have a tire guy. I do a lot of work related business with him, and he takes pretty good care of me with my personal tire needs. I purchased the tires from him, brought the wheels to him and told him to take his time mounting/balancing them. "Take as much time as you need. I'm not in a hurry." 3 days later, he calls me today to pick them up. The worst tire only took 1.5 oz of wheel weights. I was pretty happy with that, and the drive home showed it. I dropped them down to 29 lbs. before going home. I'll experiment with pressures. My KO2's were pretty happy at 27 psi. Hoping the backspacing doesn't bite me in the butt.
All they need is a bit of rock rash![]()
I like the clean look and color of the wheels.
