Parting out. What to keep and what to sell?

I have 2 98' TJ's. One with a 6 cyl. and one with a 4. Plan is to use the 6 cyl. drive train and frame with the tub from the 4 cyl. I want to sell off the 4 cyl. Engine and anything else that won't be compatible with the 6 cylinder. What should I keep and what should I let go of?

If possible, nothing until the swap is complete. You just never know what you'll be needing along the way.

Didn't some of the 4cyl. options come with 4.10 gears? I'd keep the axles if that is the case.

I need some interior parts if you are interested in selling some.
If the parts are in good condition I could use:
Center dash panel
Seat belts
Door switches for interior lights
Maybe some more stuff.

Transfer case should be the same NP231, cept the input shaft on the TC will be different depending on what trany it's mated to.

Doors are usually a high return and easy item to unload. Hard tops as well if you've got one you want to get rid of.

I have full doors and a set of half doors that are a little rough. I may just keep them for when I go topless.

I think for now I'm going to try to sell the 2.5 L engine with the 5 speed transmission. I have an extra set of stock bumpers and a YJ hard top that I know I won't be using.

Hey Rob, You do you have the 2.5 setup still? i just blew a head gasket and I am going to tare it down looking for my options if something is really wrong.
