Picked up a rebuilt Warn 8274-50 with a bunch of recovery gear yesterday

Grant
I got me a winch plate cut and formed at a local Fabshop, then I welded a 2” receiver on my reenforced ARB bumper and with having a heavy wall 2” tubing welded to the winch plate, I can rotate the entire unit upside down in a minute, for night driving without covering up my 9” LIGHTFORCE frying pans

Unless you are up to some serious fab work you are stuck with a plate on the top of the frame. Yes they might block more air compared to a M8000 but not much more than a 9.5ti or cti does. Going with synthetic will help with the weight.

That Albright contractor costs more than a cheap harbor freight winch but will last the life of the winch and Jeep… the motor upgrade I did with your guidance was also a major improvement. But I did the mid back when the economy was good and I had liquid funds to play with.
