Nah just a little clear coat peel....Looks like a fire was under that hood.
Ford Ranger wheels are narrow...I am jelly.
How is the availability of rims and tires when you need them?
Lately i have been debating to swap from 17" rims to 15", but nearly every tire that shows up in my search for 15" is 12.5 wide - no thank you! Even 10.5 are a bit too wide for my taste.
17" has a selection of 9" to 10" wides, but i cant find any rims that are not 17x9, with 5x4.5 pattern and fits Jeep style.
16" are mostly in 11 wide.
Tire sizes that i am looking at are in 32-33" range, and preferably from a known company.
Nuts. It seems 9.50x31/15s are all mud tires ONLY. Great if that's what you need, I'd run one in an A/T if I could find it.You can now get the Gateway 31 inch Buckshots on eBay!! 31 9.50 15!!!!!!!
good middle ground, i like that!Falken Wildpeak MT
255/85-16
33.1” x 10.0” equivalent
Not exactly as skinny as classic pizza-cutters, but getting close with a modern off-the-rack tire.

I looked long and hard at the 17" equivalent of tires but could only find them in an E load. How do they ride for you?Falken Wildpeak MT

JK? That’s a TJ!good middle ground, i like that!
is that a standard JK rim?
I am very pleased. Even though in the process of working out various suspension issues, the ride is very good and surprisingly quiet for the tread pattern. Hitting trails next weekend. Will report.I looked long and hard at the 17" equivalent of tires but could only find them in an E load. How do they ride for you?
