Bought a new front bumper online. I think I got a good deal so I'm happy.
I bought it bare steel. I'm ok with a rattle can. I installed it on my jeep today. Then it hit me where do I put my front license plate? Im thinking eventually it will be a fix-it ticket. What have you guys done?

Do you plan on a winch?

I don't know what type of fairlead you plan to use, but there are license plate brackets that clip on to the roller fairlead. Not sure about the hawse fairlead...

Maybe someone who has rigged up a front bracket will chime in here. We don't need a license plate in the front where I live.

I see what you are talking about now. I looked it up on 4wd.com there are options. Thank you very much.

Mag-Lite D-cell flashlight clips is what I've been using for many years. So many, they've outlasted my first winch by 8 years so far!

You can make a bracket that is sandwiched under either type of fairlead or drill and tap as mentioned previously. Drill and tap is the easiest.

I keep my front plate under a the passenger floor mat. It is not a reason for being stopped just a secondary violation. So if stopped I’ll throw it in the front window before stopping. It’s worked so far

I have a winch, bought a d cell mag light bracket and a cheap plastic plate frame and a few screws and made one for the roller fair lead , worked pretty good
