I bought this earlier this year and have spent a considerable amount of money bringing it back to excellent mechanical condition. The only rust spot I’m aware of is on top of the drivers side fender, see photos. To the best of my knowledge, the paint is all original, I have not seen any signs of repaint/repair.
We have 3 Jeeps and have decided to go down to just 2 for now. I actually enjoy driving this as much as my new Jeep.

Jeep runs excellent, cranks right up and runs smooth, gears shift smoothly, no slipping, etc.
I spent $1,500 repairing the center rail frame rust using Saf-T-Cap system, both sides. Professionally done.

Additional items/things done: - Flushed radiator (twice)
- Did smoke test to check for vacuum leaks, none found
- Removed all carpets and washed them.
- Lightly Sanded floor pans in front and repainted with color matching spray paint.
- Changed oil & filter - Full Synthetic
