Hello everyone!

I am happy to say that as of a few months ago I have been blessed with purchasing a 2006 Wrangler X and joined the Jeep TJ Gang!

In total I have loved it, and although I know no Jeep is ever perfect I have run into some issues.

About 2 weeks ago I noticed my turn signals starting to intermittently not work. Sometimes work perfectly, but the majority of times they would run quicker than normal, or not at all whenever I signaled. I have read some other posts, but am not really sure where to start diagnosing the issue. I replaced both bulbs (The left turn signal/brake light had gone out) but the problem soon returned.

Now the lights just stay on (without flashing) whenever I signal. Would this be an issue with the wiring harness, turn signal lever, etc...? Thank you for any and all help.

I have attached a video so you can see what I am talking about.

Happy Jeeping!

Aside from the bulbs, the easiest and best place to start diagnosing is your grounds. On the radiator core support, next to each headlight you will see a ground wire, ( actually multiple wires on each). These are the ground location for the turn signals. Make sure the wires and bolts are clean with no corrosion and tight.

From there the rear tail lights ground to the tub. Make sure these screws are clean and tight.

From there it's the flasher unit and then multifunction switch.

Also take a look at the receptacle. I was having intermittent issues & when I got around to looking at it the terminals in the housing assemblies (front) were corroded all to hell. I was able to snag some new ones at Napa.
