Spent the weekend trail riding the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway near Slade Ky. The DBBB is a 100 mile loop with a mix of paved, gravel, and unmaintained county roads through absolutely beautiful national forest land. No extreme terrain but looks like it could be real soupy in the spring. Highly recommend for a couple days of easy riding

Great photos. Looks like you've been having some fun at the parks. One of my favorite things to do with the wife and kids. Mine are now young adults but we still try to plan a trip once in a while. How do you like the Currie steering components and the antirock? Been thinking of doing it myself but curious if its noticeably better. Are those 33" tires? What kind of top are you putting over the trailer, if any?

Thanks! I’m trying to see all the national parks but it seems like lately they are adding them faster than we are checking them off!
So far I really like the Currie products. The steering system is extremely heavy duty, I’ll try to get a pic comparing it to the stock components. Install was a breeze and adjusting the toe was as hard as using a tape measure. When I had the 32” ATs the steering felt a little stiff but now with the much heavier 33” MTs it feels just right. I haven’t ordered the new steering stabilizer yet but you’d never know it didn’t have one. I’m still kind of experimenting with the antirock to give it a fair assessment, at full soft setting it was fantastic offroad, sometimes onroad at interstate speeds I get a gentle boat rocking feeling but I’ve changed so much at once including switching to softer shocks that I can’t say for sure it’s the antirock. I’ll report back when I have everything dialed in and some more seat time.
Plan for the trailer is to put matching sized tires as the TJ, upgrade the axle, build and lid and fix the tailgate. The lid will be simple, some square stock with 14 gauge sheeting over it. I’ve never done any fab work and I ran into way more bondo/rust than anticipated so it’s quite the experiment for me.
