I bought her in November of 2018, but I'm finally getting around to starting this build thread. (My work and other hobbies are very time consuming)
She's my daily driver, and most of the exploring I do is PNW forest service roads. With that said, she's perfectly capable stock of any exploration I currently do. With her being a daily driver, drivablility is the most important to me, followed by appearance, and capabilities.

I have 1 working speaker, so it's time to upgrade! I know Polks are highly recommended, but I went with the Rockfod Fosgate R1525X2 Prime 5.25 for the dash and soundbar. I do plan on adding a subwoofer in the near future, but this is already a HUGE improvement.

Nothing special about this install, but it was a little uncomfortable cutting that piece of sheet metal to be able to install them. Haha (I know there is a missing screw on the bottom left, it drove me crazy but it was missing before I stalled them)

Added some pillow intestines for some extra OMPHHH!

I do plan on painting these ugly faded roll bar cushions eventually.

I ordered 72 sqft of Noico 80 mil and 170 mil sound deadener for the cabin, and Uxcell 394 mil sound deadener for under the hood.

Layer 1 took SO LONG

The second layer goes on a lot easier.

This is about 10 hours of work so far, I plan on finishing the doors this weekend. I'm not sure how much of a difference the doors will make, but the tub and hood made a HUGE improvement. I'm so happy with the results so far, it's hard to describe how much of a difference it makes. I've always loved driving her, but she's so much more enjoyable to drive now. I'm hoping to insulate the hardtop before it starts snowing, but I think I want to add a subwoofer first.

Thanks very much... Sound deadening in the cards for mine as well... But I hate it being off the road while I fit it when I could be driving it haha

I had weekend duty last weekend, so I finally got around to insulating the doors tonight. It's not the cleanest job but I don't have a garage and its been in the 30's up here in Washington. So I was definitely in a rush to finish it haha I can feel and hear the difference of the insulation though! I would highly recommend doing this!

Jesse, your rig is beautiful! I absolutely love the color, but you already know that. 😉

Project Ariel. Hmmm...I know what that means. I wonder if anyone else does?

Your rig did awesome! It's amazing how capable they are out of the box. The disconnects will help keep those tires on the ground! Good day! Few hours to unload some stress and meet new people. Enjoyed meeting you. PM me your phone number so I can send you a few videos of your rig working.

I really love the look of the new black headlights, but I feel like it looks off with the brushed aluminum rims and silver lettering. Can't decide if I should go back to a clear headlights or get black rims and black lettering.

What do you guys think would look better? Black rims/ lettering or clear headlights with paint matched gunmetal pearl bezels?
