I replaced my rocker arms and pushrods on my 2005 4.0L. What is the proper break-in procedure? I’ve read to run it at 2800 RPM for 10 minutes, but haven’t seen that posted anywhere in the forums. The service manual doesn’t seem to have any info on it. Any advice?

I think you will find varying answers but when I broke in a new camshaft and lifters I ran it at 2500 for about 20 minutes, changed the oil, did some stop and go driving for about an hour, and then changed the oil again. Then I drove it for a week and changed it one more time because I am paranoid. Its been about 20,000 miles with no problems so far. Breaking in pushrods and rocker arms aren't as big a deal though as a camshaft but if you follow typical engine breaking in procedures you should be fine.
