Proper name for TJ rear axle brake junction block?

What is the proper name for the little brake line junction block on the rear axle? It’s the block that doubles as the axle vent line attachment point. I need one and searched Rock Auto through the entire brake line section but cannot find it. If anybody knows where I can get one that would be awesome.

I added a stainless steel flexible brake line when I put in a 4” lift kit. The flex line came with a new block. It did require reusing the original vent line bolt that attaches it to the axle.

They are called distribution blocks and are just pass-through junction points/splitters.

You can probably get a generic one from any auto parts store. Here's an example but make sure you get one that works with the brake line size and flair type used in your TJ. Take a line with you to the store if you can (the short side line going from the distribution block to the wheel).

The correct name for the OEM part is oddly enough, the rear brake hose.

If you are doing something different and want just the T block, you need to know the size of the ports and whether you want it to bolt down with a hole or tab. Search for brake line T block or junction block.

I’m swapping JK axles and will be using the original line going to the rear axle then a hard line going out from the junction block to mate with the original JK flex lines that connect to the stock JK calipers. When I sold the TJ rear axle I never thought about the junction block and let it go with the axle.
Do you happen to know what size lines I need to go from the TJ junction block to the JK flex lines? Or is there a better way to plumb the lines than I said above?

Screw a fine thread 3/8" bolt into the inlet on the JK flex line and let me know if it is the same thread as the bolt.

Yes, a 3/8 fine thread threads in perfectly. I also checked the front JK caliper flex line and the stock TJ hard lines threads in perfectly as well, is it safe to assume I can just connect the front JK and TJ lines together and good to go? I know nothing about the different flares so just want to double check.

Yes, just connect them up. The 3/16" inverted flare tube nut is typically 3/8-24 or 10mm for some later stuff. If they thread in, should work fine.
 
You’re the man Blaine, out of the entire axle swap I dreaded sorting out the brake lines the most.
The only thing to be watchful of is the length of the threads on the nut. They make long and short versions. If the hex gets close to bottoming out, you may have to cut and re-flare with some longer versions. I can send you some or point you to them if needed.

Or, you can ship the axle down when you're done and I'll do this for you.
