My wife and I have sat in the PRP Enduro Trail seats and find they fit our bodies and the intended use of our TJ well. I have asked PRP about those seats fitment into a 1997 Jeep TJ and they are intentionally vague in their answers and basically say they are made to be a universal fit etc…
I am hoping that some one has installed these Enduro in one of their flavors (elite, trail, crawl, etc) can confirm that the 22” width while tight will fit into a 1997 with a factory center console.
My concerns are:
(1) Are they so tight that the can’t be reclined due to interference with the B pillar of the roll bar?
(2) Will the recline handle hit the door and prevent it from properly closing? Having to adjust with the door open is fine with me.
(3) I don’t think it’s an issue but any difficulty sliding forward and backwards?
Any other complications or unintended consequences on the fitment or function (not comfort) of the seats in a 1997?
Thanks for any insights…
