So I am working on fixing the last leak (for the time being on my TJ) while I await my new Tom Woods driveshaft to arrive. My driver's side axle seal is starting to leak a bit on my Dana 35. It looks like a very simple job from what I have seen online. Simply remove the diff cover, remove axles and then replace the seal near the drum brakes. I do have 2 questions
1) Is there an inner seal? I haven't found that info exactly. If so, I'm guessing I need to replace them also because if they are leaking out the outer seals then I am sure that the inners are allowing gear oil past also.
2) Do you recommend doing the other side at the same time? I don't like doing jobs 2x.
