I took a quick trip to Uwharrie today. Nice day to be out in nature. Took some chicken taco soup my wife had made and heated it up on my little coleman burner for supper. The 2-1/2 hour drive home was great, cool temps with windows removed, until it poured rain when I was about 5 miles from my planned fuel stop. Didn't get to wet though and got all the windows back in before continuing on.

You need to join a club and not wheel alone. 🙃

Thanks for the photos, beautiful place. Nice LJ, I like the articulation you are getting without being lifted to the moon. 👍

Big f’in spider!
Haven’t been out to Uwharrie in a awhile. I’ll probably plan some trips in October when the weather is consistently mild for some camping. I’ve been in the army too long and have come to hate camping during the summer

Now that I’m retired, I’m trying to get the courage up to go camping again. Lol

But I was aviation, so my army camping wasn’t as bad as others.
