Rallytop Carpet falling

Hello,
I got a rallytop this past winter and during this summer (in Texas), the hardtop carpet keeps falling down from the heat.

Are there any easy fixes for this?

The glue likely has failed. To fix it, you have to remove the hardtop carpet, remove all the all old glue residue (from the carpet and the hardtop both), then lightly scuff up the hardtop, apply new glue (3M or such) and put it back. It might be easier to do if you remove the hardtop.

If you don't want to do the work yourself, take it to an automobile upholstery place and they can take care of it.

I recently installed hothead headliners in my Jeep and that is another option for you. Good folks, good product and looks and works great. Note that I don't have Texas level heat over here.

The key is to purchase high temp spray adhesive from 3m. You might want to call them for a recommendation. They are very helpful. Or just google it. I have some in my garage. I forget what temp it's good for. But I'm sure it comes in varying degrees.

I don't think you need to remove the carpet. Just pull it down where it's coming off. And spray some adhesive in there. 3m spray adhesive dries in minutes.

I'd try this first too before pulling the liner out.

3M makes a headliner adhesive that is very strong. I’ve had very good luck with it when other glues have failed. Be sure to read the directions on coating both sides and the wait time before sticking the headliner back on.
