Unfortunately I will have to replace my Warn 9.5ti winch. I am looking at ether a Ramsey Patriot 9500 or a Warn Zeon 10k. Does anyone have any experience with ether of these? thanks

Ramsey is the commercial industry standard on tow trucks.
Warn has an incredible reputation among consumers.

You likely cannot go wrong with either brand.

Warn's real life warranty is better. Ramsey denied covering a friend's near new winch that failed while using it. Ramsey claimed he must have been abusing it. I've had a lot of Warn products over the past 20+ years and their support has been unwavering.

I'd have to agree, Warns reputation is pretty faultless on warranty issues.
The company I drive for has a dozen Ramseys and been using them for 50 years.
They have never needed a warranty claim.

But Warn is the consumer go to brand.

I looked at Ramsey because of the past experience with them.
But I bought a Warn M8000 because they are the consumer Jeep go to winch.
No matter where I go wheelin' odds of fixing an M8000 are way better than finding a Ramsey repair depot.

Got a few buddies with the zeon 10k, seems like a nice winch. It's fast, lightish, seems reliable, looks good. Personally I rebuilt and modified an old 8274 and wouldn't trade but if I did, I'd be tempted by a zeon.
