Grabbing a pic of the super moon the other night from the Mogollon Rim in AZ, when lightning struck in a thunderstorm to the southeast.
Great picture - even better when the vertical smartphones in the foreground are cropped out. You don't get a picture like this every day!

These 3 photos could possibly be the best 3 Aurora photos i have ever taken
I knew what i wanted, I knew where i could get the shot and how i could get the shot, i knew what needed to happen for this to become possible and i knew it could happen based on the nights strong Aurora stats!
This Volcano view faces south, so for the Aurora to move from the North (Northern Lights) to become Southern Lights then the Aurora Oval has to become powerfully active and strong in order to be able to move southwards towards the UK for it to drop above or behind the Volcano for this shot to become remotely possible from this location
And the Aurora did exactly what i predicted it would do, all i had to do was to be in the right place at the right time and hold my patience and i knew i could get a killer shot. But i never expected it to display such beautiful blues, Aquas, greens, pinks above an Orange, yellow and red Volcano Eruption and reflect all those colours in a lake that was still like a mill pond on a rare windless night in Iceland
