Wow. Probably was a fairly standard text in California back then. I had 4 years of high school electronics in the late 70s - using that textbook plus the instructor's lecture additions/updates. They were needed as the textbook was printed in 1964! We used the "Lab Volt" system for our lab work.Radio and Electronics classes in high school.
5 cents a bag in Maine because plastic bags are against the law. I remember when they outlawed paper bags to save trees. I guess it's ok to cut trees again?Where can I get brown paper bags to cover my books?
Nah, I went to high school in Ohio, which was a travesty for a boy born in Burbank. A lot of their textbooks were old.Wow. Probably was a fairly standard text in California back then. Interestingly, this copy was used by a student at BYU - when, I dunno. A bit basic for college use I would think. Good textbook for the high school level, it took me awhile to track it down.
Tip: When you sit for the tech license and pass - take the General as well. Its all the same price, and you may pass it. I did. Barely. I don't know who was more surprised, myself or the VE!Nah, I went to high school in Ohio, which was a travesty for a boy born in Burbank. A lot of their textbooks were old.
That cover is pretty memorable, even if we did have to cover it with a grocery bag. A lot of it started coming back to me when I started studying for the Ham radio Technician license last year. I need to finish that.

The markings on the roads are suggestions only...Anyone who thinks that where ever they live in the states has the worst drivers, needs to drive in the Middle East or Korea.
I don't even know why they bother putting up road signs or traffic lights.
I gotta admit the H3 was impressive, the first FJ got towed out of the water, the second one was using a winch, and the dude holding the targets has some HUGE BRASS ONES!!! The JK was an RC Trail crawler...Not sure if this will upload but its pretty impressive
