I recently took on a project to help restore my 98 4.0 and black Raptor Lined the tub interior. I noticed a decent amount of rust under the carpets in my passenger side so that had to be taken care of first. After removing all of the interior components, I ground down and painted POR-15 in my floor pan. I scuffed all of the paint throughout the interior and gave it all a good cleaning. The prep is the hardest part followed by taping and masking. I took multiple nights after work to do this project but I’m really impressed with the results. I was limited by using a 6 gallon pancake compressor but I never noticed changes in texture other than a clog in the gun (this stuff sets up quickly), however I am super happy with the outcome and would recommend this stuff. I’ll keep you guys updated on how it holds up.
