Rear brakes swap to disc

What is your reasoning? Just curious. From an actual braking perspective, you gain about zero since it is the rear brake.

I just bought a 01 4.0 from a member on here. All the brakes are shit. Rear is leaking. So figured change everything at once.

Crown makes a decent kit to go to discs if you have the Dana 35 rear axle. I installed it on my Jeep earlier this year. The main advantage to switching to rear discs is easier to clean and maintain the components. I wouldn't say there's any better braking performance to be had.

You can get the parts off a ZJ with rear discs.

ZJ requires the backing plate to be drilled a bit larger I thought. The only direct swap that I am aware of is from another TJ or an 03-07 Liberty

Only if its going on a Dana 44 and i believe it is only opening up the center hole a cunt hair.
