Are you trying to tell me that all of the Jeep pictures on the internet are actually RC cars?
As long as we hang on to some concept of reality, based on the coilover shaft being approximately 7/8" wide and the coilover shaft being 1" wide, calculating it out, the air bump is a 2" stroke. Even taking into account the perspective of the picture there's is no more than 1-1/2" to the pad (probably closer to 3/4"-1").
How do the air bumps fit into his build? Why should they not remain on the shelf until he may or may not be planning on rebuilding the entire rear suspension? Surely, waiting to install airbumps until later is minimal work since you mentioned he will have to cut the fenders, and he'll have to redo the hoops anyway? How am I supposed to compliment his air bumps?
