Does anyone know of a rear bumper that has adjustment for a body lift? I am looking to hide the gap and just curious. I have a JKS 1 1/4 BL. As always - thanks!

Never seen one, but with basic welding skills it would be easy enough to modify any bumper to do this.

Or if you want to get really crazy, cut the rear subframe off and move it up 1.25" ;)

I've seen people do that!

Yes, you can get one. It's a Chinese import... But I'm running one...

Got it on Amazon,
EAG 87-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ YJ Rear Bumper With 2" Hitch Receiver & 2 D-ring Black Textured Off Road https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IS92ZJO/?tag=wranglerorg-20

Note, you'll probably have to figure something out for the spare tire. I had to get the rugged ridge HD carrier.

Not even noticeable with that small of a body lift.

Though, just to toss this out there (I dont recommend the carrier), my smittybilt matches with the body perfectly.

Rockhard 4x4 in Nebraska sells a very nice rear bumper, that has an extra set of mounting holes for covering up a 1" body lift. They also use an additional 4 mounting points for a total of 8 bolts holding the bumper on the Jeep. Rear shackle mounts are double welded, and their bumper is tow rated when you add the frame tie-in kit. Very strong bumper, weighs approx. 70 lbs.

Thank you everyone for the information - I appreciate the help. I am looking for something really simple so I’m leaning toward rock hard .

Just a tip for anyone who buys an EAG or other similar budget bumper: consider giving it an additional coat of rust-preventative paint, especially near the receiver hitch. One of the ways they are able to make these bumpers so cheap is by skimping on the protective coat and a little puddling of water from a light rain is enough to start some rust build-up.

I have a JKS 1.25" body lift currently and the Smittybilt XRC bumpers. Not the greatest photo but you should be able to get the idea that the body lift is pretty much covered by this rear bumper. The angle of the photo is looking slightly down on the bumper and you can kind of see that it is even with the body.

The guy I bought mine from literally flipped the bumper and remounted it. Then we went to Home Depot and bought some thin diamond plate (the cheap stuff) painted it black and mounted it to the "top" of the bumper. When you flip the bottom side up it is open so you need to cover that hole. It actually looks really good.

Met and talked with this YJ owner from Georgia. We talked in detail about his 1 inch body lift, how unhappy he was with the unsightly body lift gap, (butt crack) @Starrs @Chris and his method of hiding it was simple and clean.

Here is his Jeep coverage from his magazine article

Any reptuable Jeep shop could make easy work of this. Likely even a reptuable welding shop could make short work of this requirement for a TJ/LJ owner.

IMO the bumpers that “hide” the “buttcrack” are way too big, bulky, and cheap looking.
