When I turn right or left at an intersection or a stop sign the rear diff sounds really bad with a grinding noise. When I am driving straight it is fine. Any idea what the issue is and how to fix it.

Time to pull the cover off that rear diff and see how your ring and pinion gear along with your spider gears look.
