Rear drum brake leak?

I am wondering about this drum. It is dripping brake fluid slowly from what appears to be the the rear wheel cylinder and the drum. I noticed it leaking earlier (pedal pressure got low) and I was able to tighten the line nut. But now it appears to be coming between the cylinder and drum? Maybe it's just slowed down so it just APPEARS to be coming there and is actually leaking. BTW, I tried the line wrenches and they don't fit. It appears like I have some sort of ovoid nut or the last guy balled it. Wound up tightening with needle nose vice grips.... But it still could be leaking at the brake line nut.... Any advice would be helpful.

Yep, sounds like the cylinder may be leaking. I'd pull it apart and inspect it.

need to do same, failed inspection they saw fluid dripping and found the cylinder is blown out. Luckily I ordered everything new for the rears when I bought it last year...just have to figure it out, have not done drums in 20 years.

Did my rears earlier this year...same thing cylinder leaking. Take some good photos once you have the drum off and you will be able to get all the springs back on correctly. There are also so good youtube videos of TJ rear drum work that i found helpful.

Just did them, not hard but getting the auto adjuster to catch the star is a pain. I’ll always wonder if it’s working.
I watched the YouTube video by Chris fix. He makes it look so easy.

I know there is a write up here, very detailed with tips and pics...will look that up when time comes. Luckily this is not my DD, just need some time and decent weather to put it up on the lift....not leaving my corvette in the rain.
