That’s nothing. Mine looked way worse when I pulled the skid plate off last summer to replace my transmission mount, install savvy shift linkage and front driveshaft removal. If I was you I’d spray some wool wax or apply grease prior to reinstalling the skid plate

That section needs to be safety capped. The rest of the frame is good.

When you reinstalled your oil pan, did you follow factory procedures for rtv or did you add extra?

I followed the FSM; same place I found it when I removed the old gasket.

Looking at photos to refresh my recollection.

When I took off the old gasket, there was RTV in the back between the flat surface and crankshaft hump. I used some here on both sides as well.

should i go to the dealer and buy mopar anaerobic sealant or is the permatex from o reilly fine? What did you use?

I used the Permatex anaerobic sealant.
