Rear springs are too small to fit around bottom spring mount

I ordered rear coil springs for my 1998 jeep wrangler tj 4.0 manual trans. The bottom of the springs will not go around the bottom spring mount. The mount measures 3 and 1/2 inches across. The spring is too small to go over it. The part number I have is Moog 3229. Need some help. Thanks

Any chance you can post some photos of the bottom spring mount with the spring attempting to fit over it?

Without photos, it's really hard to help.
 
The rear springs will fit both upside down and downside up. If yours don't, then you didn't get TJ springs.
