hey guys i would like to change the light colour to the rear defrost and wiper switches. do i have to change both switches themselves or theres a way to change just the bulb?

To have a color other than OE color you will need to change the bulbs.

The bulb can be changed while keeping the switch. I swapped out my switch lights and instrument cluster lights with LED from superbrightleds.com.
