I'm trying to figure out a few parameters for something I'm working on. I need some numbers to help with that if possible. The distance from the end of the receiver tube to the center of the hitch pin hole is all over the map so an average of what I'm up against will tell me if I can pull it off.

I would think there would be a strength number involved to prevent the tearing out of the receiver tube by the hitch pin?

1-1/2" on TJ Warn Rock Crawler rear bumper.
2-7/16" on Silverado Truck

2.25" - 2" aftermarket receiver on my Jeep

2.50" - factory MoPar 2" receiver on my truck

Looking through everyone's responses, I never would have thought there would be that much variation.

Mine is showing exactly 1". (UCF bumper)

@starkey480 says I'm good at measuring things.

Curt round tube TJ 2" receiver is 2.5" to the main hole but also has a small hole.

OEM 2022 F350 with 3" receiver is only 2".

Wall thickness is the same on the main tube, but 0.1" thicker on the F350 flare.

Did you go a little wild with the plasma?
