Any lights or brand that works for more than a season? I bought many of them and also be ip67 but no one works at least some months. Any suggestions around $100? I need lights for the bumper.

I have been using Extreme Leds. Have a pair of their side shooter pods on front bumper. Also a 14" single row bar above bumper with 2 spots and 4 floods in it.

Is driving the boondocks at night in Mexico a good idea ??

Monterrey is safe and big city.

Monterrey is a big city. Safe city. With a lot of mountains to off-road.

I'm sure everybody has opinions, but a bunch of people in my group, including me on 2 different jeeps, use Nilight pods & bars. We've had zero problems ever. I had one pod bear the brunt of a bad decision which resulted in a hole in the housing (note, it didn't destroy the mount which would've been harder to repair/replace). It was raining at the time, no issues. I "patched" the hole with some duct tape, still going strong. I'm into those pods for $18 for the pair.

I'm sure there's a fantastic reason to spend north of $300 on light pods like the Rigids I saw at 4WP yesterday, I'm just completely unaware of what that reason is.

How do you think?

I have been using Heretic Studio lights for several years on various off-road toys, haven't had one single issue and the light they put out is clear and sharp.

I’ve got the Quadratec 4 inch round spots for the base of my windshield. They were not too terribly expensive when I bought them. They have a 6 inch version too and both can be had in spot or flood.

They also have the equivalent in the cube light also, which are a little cheaper.

I have the 6" floods on the LJ, they are Bright
I'm planning on the 4" floods on the windshield pillar

I picked up some likely china built cree 9" round lights. Had them for probably 2 years use them when driving across texas to camp. They are bright and have been good. I have the relays triggered off my highbeams so they come on when you turn on the high beams. Notice the camera adjusts and dims down. They are bright.

I use any of the “Cree” lights also here in Texas. Lots of light to see the black hogs you don’t want to hit. They tend to last a long time. Usually 3 to 4 yrs. Then I see some I like better and replace em. I tend to spend about $35 to $50. Amazon. I buy the high lumen like 12,000 to 16,000. Been happy with spending very little.
