This is a very superficial silly post, but I want your thoughts!

Today I was putting my soft top back on, and to make the installation easier, I went ahead and removed my Garvin roof rack. It was the first time I’ve seen my Jeep without the rack on in a very long time- and I really like the look of it without the rack.
I’m tempted to keep the rack off and only put it on when I need it. (Overlanding trips, hauling firewood, moving, kayaking trips, etc.)
Is this a silly idea? To only put it on when I need the extra room?

I do that on occasion. If I have a need to take it off, I don’t put it back on until I have a need for it.

I leave the rear upper/lower brackets installed but remove the rack and the four supports. I also leave the rack fully assembled, including the crossbar brackets and the wind deflector, with the exception of the crossbars themselves.

That way installing or removing it takes 30 minutes or less.
